Team BJC Bowie came a creditable 9th (out of more than 30 teams) in the Dragon boat racing on Sunday, narrowly missing out on a semi final position. A great day was had by participants and spectators alike.
A big thank you to those who participated and came to support. Particular praise to James Forward for captaining the team and organising a fantastic BBQ. Great work sous chefs O’Dwyer and Atkinson and to Heather Rees for painting everyone’s faces to make us all look like spitting images of David Bowie.
