Our most recent monthly members meeting was held at the fantastic office space of Burges Salmon on Temple Quay – Tuesday 5th May 2015.
Over 60 attendees were recorded (check out the panoramic picture below for a great shot of the room mid presentation) and we were also pleased to welcome 17 guests in to the fold as well. Congratulations to our new membership secretary Heather Rees!
With an informative talk from Alistair Reid, Service Director of Economy at Bristol City Council on the developments of the Temple Quarter Enterprise Zone we were all privy to an insight in to the Bristol arena project. Alistair is pictured below with our new president, Ben St Quintin, who also ran through the proposed budget for the year ahead and as always members had a chance for Q&A after each presentation.
Full minutes were sent out in our weekly email and below are a few amateur snaps of the location and even a token gromit!
Our next monthly member’s meeting will be held at the Old Vic Theatre School on Tuesday 2nd June 2015. Paul Wilson from ‘Bristol is Open’ will be our guest speaker with the topic, ‘What is a Smart City and how is Bristol leading the world in becoming one?’ and we will also be hearing from Paul Rummer of the Old Vic Theatre School about the major extension and refurbishment of facilities at the school.
We look forward to another great turnout from our esteemed members, you are very welcome to bring guests but please e-mail Alice Peacock with their details in advance. All Council of Management email addresses can be found on our dedicated website page
