For the last 70 years the city of Bristol has been twinned with the city of Hanover in Germany. As part of this relationship between the cities there is a long standing annual exchange between the junior chambers of the two cities. This year it was Bristol Junior Chamber’s turn to host representatives of the Hanover Junior Chamber and we were really excited to welcome 9 Hanoverians to our great city.
Over the weekend we showed off some of the best that the area has to offer including: a trip to Bath to see the sights, a visit to the balloon fiesta to see the night glow and a stand up paddle boarding trip on the harbour to see the sights and test our skills balancing (and swimming) skills.
Thanks to the 9 BJC members hosted one of the Hanoverian representatives and to the other 13 BJC members past and present who joined in over the course of the weekend. Next year BJC will be making the trip to Hanover to continue to build our partnership.
