Thank you to everyone who came along to our VIP BJC Marquee at the Bristol International Balloon Fiesta.
As many of you already know, BJC helped to found the Balloon Fiesta, and because of the close relationship we have maintained with today’s organisers are privileged to enjoy the event from a simply amazing vantage point each year, within the members enclosure. Despite the sunshine, organisers had to cancel the mass ascent because of high winds, but this didn’t stop the night glow later on which was spectacular as ever!
In true BJC style, there was plenty of networking and consumption of the canapes and drinks – we also discovered who the creative types are among our members once the 200 glowsticks came out! A big thank you to BJC members Rebecca Purchase for getting sponsorship set up with Wards and decorating our pod with balloons and bunting and Rob Barnes and Gemma Alaway for all their help.
