We had a great meeting at Engine Shed with Tristan Hogg, co-founder of Pieminister, one of Bristol’s big foodie success stories. We were treated to a selection of pies – all of which were obviously delicious! Tristan spoke knowledgeably about both food and the operation / management of a growing business, dropping in some hilarious stories from his previous entrepreneurial activities. We heard about the successes and ‘learning points’, as well as his plans for the future. From the Q&A session, it was clear that we have several budding entrepreneurs within the BJC and we all learnt a lot from Tristan’s talk.
