Marshfield Bakery

Marshfield Bakery – 25th November 2015

What’s more festive (technically 6 days early) than a mince pie, some mulled wine and a tour of the amazing Marshfield Bakery. Where they make the magnificent mince pies, obviously!

A select few BJC members were tonight, treated to a private tour of the family run bakery on the outskirts of Bristol. Unfortunately no pictures, or jewellery for that matter, were allowed in the production area. As you can see from the pictures below, the food hygiene is taken very seriously and we willingly changed in to our fetching hair nets and coats before embarking on the tour!

They make everything from flapjacks of various flavours to fruit cake and scrumptious brownie. The tour was very informative and we even got to flatten our own flapjacks! Thank you to everyone at the bakery for accommodating us and our many questions. Well done to Charlie for organising too, a great evening.
