4 years now…!
I was told about the BJC by a colleague at work, and it’s safe to say I haven’t looked back since!
Watch sport, play sport, listen to sport, think about sport, and did I mention sport? The Annual BJC BBQ and Cricket Match is one of my favourite on the BJC Calendar, and our Chair of Sport always has loads of great things lined up.
Outside of sporting activities, it would have to be ‘Members’ Dinner’. Always hosted at a superb Bristol venue, and it represents a great opportunity to celebrate our members and everything that we have achieved as an organisation. And let’s be honest, who doesn’t like getting dressed up!
The people! We’re blessed with so many wonderful industries and communities. I truly believe there is something for everyone in this great City, and frankly the BJC has a vital role to play in bringing all of those various aspects together for the benefit of our members.
I loathe this fact because it’s very basic, and feels like a get-out-of-jail-free card, but I have two different coloured eyes. The scientific term used to describe this is heterochromia, but perhaps more interestingly it is more common in dogs – make of that what you will…
