How long have you been a member of the BJC?

Since June 2023.

Why did you join?

In my work, I’ve seen first-hand how knowledge-sharing and fostering connections in the business community unlock opportunity. I wanted to be part of an organisation that connects its members with industry on a wider scale and engages them in conversation about key trends that are shaping Bristol business.

Outside of work and the BJC what do you like to do with your spare time?

Compete in amateur powerlifting competitions and watch 90s films with my cat Mischief.

Do you have a favourite event on the BJC calendar?

Spring Drinks – the RWA is such a unique venue and everyone is buzzing about the promise of the new BJC year.

What’s the best thing about Bristol?

The tech scene. Bristol has a longstanding reputation as a hub for innovation, from aerospace to “deep tech”. I’m hopeful that being part of the ‘Silicon Gorge’ triangle of Bristol-Swindon-Gloucester will bring more jobs and growth to the city.

Tell us an interesting fact about yourself.

I was a Project Manager at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London before career-changing into the law.
