I’ve been a member for around four years, Spring Drinks 2022 was my first BJC event!
A colleague invited me along to Spring Drinks knowing that I love a networking event. I then went to a monthly meeting in September and found the evening really engaging, realising the BJC has so much on offer. I quickly signed up to the Hannover exchange trip and never looked back!
Most Sundays you’ll find me in a muddy field somewhere in Gloucestershire playing football competitively. When I’m not chasing a football I’m chasing/being chased by my 6-month-old whippet puppy! I also love any opportunity to get on a surfboard or paddleboard, weather permitting.
It has to be the Members’ Dinner, any excuse to get dressed up!
I grew up in a small village not far from Bristol, but always felt drawn to the city due to its energy and dynamism. There’s always something going on, the people are friendly, it’s got an abundance of green spaces, the harbourside… the food scene… need I say more?
I lived in Shanghai for 3 weeks on an intensive Chinese language skills programme with the British Council.
