We warmly welcome any professional aged 40 and under who is based within the city of Bristol or surrounding area. The past 70 years of BJC gives us a a great deal of heritage and history, along with an active alumni organisation and wealth of connections.

Our monthly members’ meetings bring together an inspiring speaker and atmospheric venue to provide the core of our BJC calendar. Past keynotes have included Martin Thatcher of Thatcher’s Cider, Col Needham of IMDb and Michael Eavis of Glastonbury Festival. Recent guest speakers have been Jaya Chakrabarti MBE, founder and CEO of Nameless and CEO of Semantrica, Ian Pond of Cycling Works Bristol and professional speaker, presenter and social entrepreneur Daniel Edmund.

Our Council of Management delivers an excellent range of events and activities for our members including heritage and culture trips, business and enterprise learning opportunities, and a wide range of social events. As an organisation, we commit to giving back to the community.

Our education, skills, charity, and volunteering programmes provide our members the opportunity to get involved with helping young people across Bristol to develop their own skills and networks, whilst also giving us the opportunity to develop our own.

If you are interested in joining please get in touch with our Chair of Membership, Catherine Harris. You can also download an application form below.
